Scott A. Schatzman, Managing Partner - The Singer Law Firm
PERSONAL INFORMATION

Scott Schatzman serves as the managing partner of The Singer Law Firm which is located in St. Louis, Missouri.  His main areas of practice include sports representation, small business/corporate representation, estate planning/asset protection, and real estate law.

Scott advises small business and non-profit clients in their formation, operation and tax election decisions.  He represents several collegiatee coaches and mixed martial arts atheletes in their contractual negotiations.  Scott assists individuals and families in their long term planning to protect and control their assets.  He represents property owners in eminent domain litigation and other real estate transactions

Scott attends Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri part-time pursuing a master's in tax law.  he is a member of the American Bar Association and St. Louis Sport's Commission Associates Board.

Scott attended law school at the University of Missouri. While attending law school, Scott assisted in coaching the Missouri Tiger wrestling team from 2001 to 2004 as they climbed to a top ranked team in the country. 

In his collegiate career at Northwestern University, Scott led the Wildcat's wrestling team as captain for 3 years and became a 3-time NCAA Division I All-American and the Male Scholar Athlete of Northwestern University in 2000 (Big Ten Medal of Honor). He received the honor of Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 1996. 

During his high school wrestling career at Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Missouri, Scott compiled a record of 149-0, becoming the only 4-time undefeated State Champion in the state of Missouri. Scott placed 2nd in the 1997 Pan-American Games in Puerto Rico, 1st in the 1997 Maccabi Games in Israel, placed top eight in the 2004 US Senior Nationals and competed in the 2004 Olympic Trials while finishing law school. 

In 2005, Scott was inducted into the Missouri Wrestling Hall of Fame and JCA Hall of Fame. Currently, in his spare time, Scott assists in coaching wrestling at several St. Louis area high schools and little league wrestling clubs. 

Outside the practice of law, Scott enjoys coaching wrestling to local high school and little league wrestlers, water skiing, relaxing and playing with his four dogs - Chewey, Mocha "Latte", Bitsy and Abigail.
